Dear Ma,
I am really doing fine with the mail for I got three letters again today. Two from Beryle and one that you and Rina may wrote the thirtieth of August. I have gotten two that you had written since then. I know now what the suit was you were talking about. Sure am surprised at you going to Dubuque but you should be able to when Willie does. It is really easier to go to Dubuque now than it was.
Had the easiest day of work today since I have been here. We are getting a system worked out now and that makes things better. Now that they got our mail coming I get it twice a day. They seem to have a pretty fair system now.
Don’t know what I will do tomorrow for Francis has to work. I think I will try and get caught up on my letter writing. Well ma I don’t know much to write about tonight so will close.
Love
Howard
