Dear Howard,
Well, I am back in God’s Country again. Gee it sure is nice to see the lights – with no dimouts. I am here to go to radio school for three months. Got here Saturday of last week.
We live in civilian hotels with private bathrooms, maid service to make our beds & clean our rooms and we even have a telephone in each room. Pretty swell. We get meal tickets to eat at an army Cafeteria. We get marvelous food well prepared & can have all we want. It is sure wonderful after Atlantic City. We really get the eats. We go to school from 4:30 PM – 12:30 with an hour for supper. on Sat. we go 1/2 day. When we aren’t in school we can come & go as we please just like civilians.
But we can’t leave K.C. The course is hard but I think I will come out. O.K. We get cpls. pay plus $25 per month or $91 per month here.
