Dear Ma,
Knows right well you will be surprised to hear from me this time. Didn’t expect to be writing from here, but you can never tell about the Navy. We are located in the Territory of Hawaii but I just can’t say the exact location.
We are in another out going unit the same as Shoemaker. Do have an overseas address so you can write now. Will make this short tonight for I want to write Beryle and get cleaned up. Sure am dirty.
All of our old company is here and we sure had quite a reunion tonight. Had quite a chat with Miller. The three Narriga and I get to bunk by together. Sure is nice to be with them.

Just think ma it is three months today since I left for the Navy. Sure have came a long way in a short while. Guess I had better close for tonight.
