Dear Ma,
Here it is Sunday night and it is just the same as any other night here. There is a lot of activity here in the barracks for there is a lot of fellows getting packed for tomorrow morning. Same thing will be happening tomorrow night for we will be getting ready then. They sure are making a house cleaning here.
Everybody is trying to figure out where we are going, but we really don’t know. Sure am glad we all got to go together. Wherever I go hope it rains once in awhile for I don’t care much for this.
There wasn’t any new mail this morning so none of us got any. Probably get several tomorrow.
One thing wherever we go we will either get more training or in some reconstruction work. I think it might be the latter.
I guess Jenella will be coming home before too long. I want you to get a snap shot of the baby and send it to me.
I don’t know much news me so I will close for tonight.
Love Howard
I think you should check right away. Some of the others have gotten three.
