Dear Ma,
Finally got some mail today so I feel a lot better. Person can’t help but wonder when something like that is taking place. I was disappointed that it wasn’t a girl but as long as they get along alright its O.K. Wonder what Jim and Bob will think of him. Its sure funny how Bob can be so good now when he use to hate to be away from Daddy so. But Rena may don’t get to much rest.
All of the fellows from home got several letters this morning so the mail must of been mixed up somehow. I got your letter, Beryle, one from Lorraine Histing and a card from Delbed Redfern.
Francis got a letter from Ray an he has to take ten weeks of boat training. Sure would hate to have to take that much. If a person knew as much when he went into boat camp as he does now it sure would be a lot easier.
Sure was a good one that Jimmy told May. I can just picture him saying it. I bet Bish is having a big time.
It sure is a swell day here today. Came out nice an bright this morning. Usually is ten or eleven before the sun gets out.
Well ma I guess I will close now an go eat.
Love
Howard
