Dear Ma,

Didn’t write last night for I didn’t get any mail yesterday, but got two letters from you today.

I knew where Bob Moury was going when he left here. Pat and I both knew when he was here where he was going, but we never told him. Doubt whether he has seen any action for I haven’t seen his division mentioned in any of the newspaper accounts.

It certainly was good news to hear that Arthur and John Hebenstrict were liberated. Bet that they did a lot of suffering.

The kids pictures you have must be really good for I thought the one I had was plenty good. I sure was tickled to get them and they look so sweet.

They really seem to be clamping down on the city people that have lockers. That certainly is a disgusting thing in my opinion. If they would clamp down on some of those draft dodging farmers they would be doing something.

Certainly is nice that Stanley likes it so well. Know he is going to find it is a great experience.

Something big must be going to happen when Junior was all dressed up on Sunday. Really don’t think much of his choice of a car, but I guess he can’t be to particular. They both must be getting younger when they are dancing again. It’s nice that Jenelda was able to work and make a little more money. Must of been quite a strain on her though.

Harataid and his wife were pretty lucky to get a girl when they already have a boy. Don’t usually work out that way.

I wouldn’t be surprised a bit if I saw a lot of boys from around home over here for I expect a lot of them to come this way now. I could write more but today was field day and I am pretty tired so I will close now.

Love
Howard
