Dear Howard,

Well, I guess it’s about time I answered your letter, that I received last week. I don’t have so much time to write during the week and always go out on Sat. night and don’t come back to camp until Sun. night.

I spent my week-end in Jersey City now. I was up there this week-end stayed at the girls house again, she is okay. pretty good looking.

I didn’t spend so much this week end only nine bucks. I had to cut down. I have spent 80. as far this month. I only had 8 drinks this time she only drank 3. Some pretty nice night clubs there we always go to next sunday I didn’t get up until 10:30 and layed around the house all day.

I am supposed to go to see her next week-end, but I think we have a parade sunday so it will be a dull week-end for me.

Well, I enjoyed myself last week-end, guess you must be tired of this shit by now. I heard Norman is in the hospital now.

I had a letter from him not long ago.

I got a letter from May and one from Worthy the same day I got yours.

I had a letter from Jr.

I guess Bob is doing pretty good with so much. I imagine he runs it like he does his car. You has a loader now, I don’t know if he was a good or not.

I sure wish I had a car or motorcycle here.

Do you go as much as you used to.

How are you and Beryle making out and I haven’t heard from Fluff for a long time.

School isn’t going to good, if I don’t get a good mark in a test Sat. they may send me back to A.C. I hope not because the women around here are swell. I have a swell nurse I take out once in a while. I am going to see her this week. we drill with full packs and it is pretty tough, we don’t feel much like going out during the week.

Well, so long for now. I may write to stay yet tonight. So long and be good, I won’t say how good I will be.

Your old pal
Ernest
