Dear Howard,
Linda Lou has a 7½ lb. baby sister. It was born on Memorial Day. 5 days after Linda Lou’s birthday. I saw Horstman last night when we were coming home with the cows. He said he would drop in and see us.
We were up town yesterday morning and I saw the parade. Buttons were up to Booty’s yesterday. They went home this morning.
Mrs. Button said that when Billy was sick he got a lot of cards and he put them all in a little book. Jim and Bob were down yesterday. I had a blanket and a pillow out on the grass under a tree. Bobby and I were laying on it. Bobby looked at me and then started to slap my leg. When I said something he started to slap me all the harder.
Your sister,
Rena May
P.S. The milkman thinks he will have to the 1st of June.
P.P.S. How is washing?
