Dear Ma,
Really did good today for I went down to see Francis early this morning and then we went to church. I thought that it would be a good thing for us. We spent all day together for he might not be here after this month. He might be here then again he might not be. Hope he is for I sure would miss him.
He said that Jim Hurlong was over yesterday and that he had been talking to Donnie Harray and he is to go back to General Detail so that means he will be transferred some place.
I have tomorrow and the next day off so I should be able to get caught up on my letter writting. Feel more like writting now than I did.
I didn’t get any letter from you today but got one from Beryle and a Christmas card from Mr & Mrs Thomas Monroe, Ruth and Lola. Also got my box from Tippetts today. Get as many boxes now as I do letters.
All of them so far have came through without being damaged. Beryle got her picture too and thought it was good so it must be alright.
Won’t be long before Thanksgiving and we are going to have turkey I guess. But we have some work during the holidays.
I forgot to tell you that Beryle is working at the Battery factory at Galena, she rides with Phillip Sweeney’s sister.
I guess maybe you will have had company today being its Sunday. Every day here is just the same, even getting mail twice a day.
