Dear Ma,
Will have to make this short again tonight for another day has come an no mail from you. Got one letter from Beryle, but the night mail wasn’t got so that is probably the reason I didn’t get one from you.
Went an saw Francis for awhile this morning and got my laundry an a new pair of shoes. After I came back from seeing him I went in town with a couple of fellows for a little while. Kind of breaks the monotonous of sitting around.
Beryle said that they are having people at church come forward an be saved a that last Sunday and Jack and Edith Wiebler went up to be saved. I think it is a little bit to late for both of them now. Beryle said that it is getting to be pretty chilly at nights now. Sure seems funny for it never changes here.
I know so many things that I would like to tell you, but they would only be cut out if I did write them.
One thing I will say for the native people here is that they personally are always clean and dressed good. That goes for the little kids too. Don’t know anything about their homes, but their places of business aren’t well kept at all. Put a person in mind of a Jews place.
