Dear Ma,
Didn’t get a chance to write last night for it was nine o’clock before I got through work and by the time I took a shower I was ready for bed. The work gets harder every day for we have more to feed and we are short some men. Are suppose to get more this week.
Didn’t get any mail yesterday but am going to go over and pick it up today. It isn’t bad when I can get it every other day.
It is Sunday but I have my clothes soaking and figure on washing after a bit. Guess maybe Jim and Bob will be down today.
How is the car working now? I have ridden in about every kind of thing since I got here. Everybody hitch hikes.
Won’t get to see Francis today for he has to work, but will get to see him Tuesday.
Well ma I will close now until tonight.
Love
Howard
