Dear Ma,
Haven’t did much today but lay around but I am terrible tired tonight. Should write a lot of letters but I just don’t feel like it.
I did my washing this morning an then went down an saw Francis. We had a nice visit an went an got some ice cream. His mail has been coming mixed up like mine too.
I only got one letter again today a that was from Beryle said she heard that Art was home again. Wonder if him and Marjorie will get married this time. Wouldn’t it surprise me none. Guess his mother would come too.
One of the cooks I work with is suppose to get a leave to go back to the states before long. He has been here over two and a chalf years now so it is about time he got to go back.
Beryle said something about them having a picnic for at New Diggings. What is that for the service men? Remember last year Willis was home for it.
Must write to Mrs Bennett one of these nights. When I take a notion to write I will write everybody at once.
Well ma this is about all I know so I will close for now.
Love
Howard
